✅ Step-by-Step Instructions in Canva (Free Account)
Step 1: Log into Canva
Go to https://www.canva.com
Log in to your free account (or create one if needed).
Step 2: Set Custom Dimensions
From the homepage, click the “Custom size” button (top-right).
Set dimensions in pixels, since Canva works in pixels (not inches).
📏 For 3.5 inches at 300 DPI (print quality), use:
Width: 1050 px
Height: 1050 px
(Formula: 3.5 inches × 300 pixels/inch = 1050 pixels)
Click “Create new design”.
Step 3: Create a Circular Layout
In the editor, go to the Elements tab.
Search for “circle frame” or just “circle”.
Drag a circle frame or solid circle onto the canvas.
Tip: Use a frame if you want to insert an image into a circle shape.
Resize it to fit the canvas completely (you can use guides/snapping to help).
If needed, set the background to transparent or a solid color depending on your design needs.
Step 4: Design Your Logo
Add text, icons, shapes, or images as needed.
Use the Text tab for fonts.
Use the Elements tab for icons.
Use Uploads to bring in your own files.
Customize fonts, colors, and alignment.
Make sure your content stays within the circle and is centered.
Step 5: Download Your Logo
Click the “Share” button (top-right).
Choose “Download”.
File type: Select PNG or JPEG.
PNG is recommended for high quality and supports transparent backgrounds (if needed).
On free accounts, transparent background is not available, so stick with solid color backgrounds.
Under Size, drag the slider to increase resolution (up to 3x, the max for free users).
This will give you a 3150 × 3150 px image (very high res).
Click “Download”.

You now have a high-resolution 3.5" round logo saved as a PNG or JPEG file, ready for print or digital use!
