Holiday Gingerbread House Assembly Guide
Materials Provided:

Gingerbread base (with room for a front yard)

Three festive coloured decorative frostings

Various festive coloured sprinkles

- Sanding sugar (for snow effect)
- Four piping bags (disposable)

Small spatula or butter knife (optional, for spreading frosting)
- Possibly some small weighted items from around your house to help prop up the walls (important if you are doing this solo)
Step-by-Step Assembly:

Preparation:

Select a clean, flat surface for assembly.

Organize all the components and decorations to ensure you have everything ready.

Decorating the Walls and Roof:
-
Before assembling the house, decorate the front, back, and side walls as well as the roof pieces. Use the three festive coloured decorative frostings to create patterns, outlines, or any creative design you prefer. (TIP: For a fine line design style, please be sure to only clip a small hole from the tip of your piping bags).

Sprinkle the festive coloured sprinkles over the frosting while it's still wet, allowing them to stick.

Allow the decorated pieces to set and dry before assembly.

Foundation:

Apply a thick line of the assembly "glue" (royal frosting) along the bottom edges of the front, back, and side walls.

Attach the walls to the gingerbread base, forming a rectangle.

Additionally, apply the assembly glue between the vertical seams where the walls meet to add structural integrity.

As you assemble the walls together, hold each new section for a couple minutes to ensure they stick together. Once they are standing in place, allow that section to set for a few minutes before proceeding further. Once all the walls are upright and glued in place, let the house sit for 20 minutes before proceeding.

Roof Installation:

Apply the assembly "glue" along the top edges of the front and back walls.

Carefully place the roof pieces on top, ensuring they meet at the peak and overlap the side walls slightly. Hold in place until stable.

Door and Details:

Attach the small door to the front wall using the assembly "glue."

Position the two small gingerbread people in the front yard, securing them with a bit of frosting.

Final Touches:

Add the assorted festive candies to enhance the look of your gingerbread house. Use the frosting as an adhesive to attach the candies wherever you like.

Once all the decorations are in place, allow the gingerbread house to sit for a few hours or overnight for the frosting to harden completely.
